Description
Full of It is a wood assemblage that follows up the In Search Of series and exhibition. Once the exhibition had been installed, I was feeling a strong sense of success and pride that encouraged me to begin this work. As a study, this piece attempts to evoke a sense of pridefulness through mark-making and the layering of symbols. Full of It also builds on my desire to combine different artistic techniques, specifically collage with unique items. And, of the materials used in the mixed-media assemblage was a vintage stamp and a modern fortune cookie. This work is absolutely meant to be touched.
