Description
Love utilizes reclaimed wood and other found materials to present an idea for what love is all about. Once the theme was determined, the starting point for this project was landing on the triangular shape that aligns to the iconic heart shape. The primary canvas for Love is actually not wood at all, but instead a bit of drywall cut to size. The vibrant red paired with various images and illustration form a collaged theme for the symbol of love. Wood burned marks suggest a refined taste, while the sculptural properties suggest a flair for less conventional, and perhaps more dramatic. This artwork can absolutely be touched.
