Description
Persistence Pedestal is an assemblage built from the remains of an earlier assemblage. Basically, I felt the earlier work wasn’t done. This is the result of reopening the project, taking a second look, and chasing a new concept. Trust in the process was paramount for me during this time.
Made from entirely discarded wood, Persistence Pedestal reflects balance with a consistent wood tone palette, as well as in its shape as a reverse triangle/pedestal. Wood has always been a friend to practicality, and this work embraces utilitarian engagement with dual ledges.
This artwork can absolutely be touched.
